The Victoria Way
There is no substitute for experience. This was a guiding principle for our late directress, renowned educator Mrs. Leonor Hernandez Debuque. For over five decades, VSF has embraced this philosophy, fostering a learning environment that emphasizes hands-on experiences and real-world application of knowledge. This approach has proven remarkably successful, as evidenced by the outstanding academic achievements of our graduates. Many VSF alumni have secured admission to the country’s top universities, including the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, and the University of Santo Tomas.
Throughout her lifetime, Mrs. Debuque championed the Victoria Way, a teaching methodology specifically designed for Filipino children. At the heart of the Victoria Way is the belief that students should not only learn but also develop a passion for learning. This method seeks to cultivate all aspects of a child’s development, encompassing their physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.
Under Mrs. Debuque’s leadership, VSF has become a beacon of academic excellence, consistently producing graduates who are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Her legacy lives on in the Victoria Way, a testament to her unwavering commitment to nurturing well-rounded, lifelong learners.
